OUR STAFF
At AIM, we are fortunate to have a great team of nurturing, experienced teachers who have worked together in a family-like environment for many years. Our head teachers all have completed their Montessori training. In addition, they have either taught at another school for several years or have completed a multi-year junior teacher program right here at AIM. All of our teachers—assistants, and head teachers alike—speak with the children only in their native languages.
Because our program has acquired a reputation of excellence, we regularly receive many inquiries from newly-trained and experienced Montessori teachers who want to join AIM. We welcome resume submissions and will contact you if it is a good fit.

Science/Outdoor Teacher
Job Description:
Develop, follow, and evaluate lesson plans for science and outdoor activities. Motivate students and develop their skills through a variety of activities and teaching methods (games, experiments, outdoor activities, etc.). Develop an interest in nature through hands-on nature lessons. Regularly assess student performance and progress to ensure skills are mastered. Collaborate closely with other teachers. Analyze student assessment data to inform instruction. Maintain communication with parents and provide appropriate information. Participate in ongoing professional development in the spirit of continuous improvement; teach students ages 2-6 and provide instructional support to parents and guardians. The education level is for the job duties of Science/Outdoor Teacher “Preschool, Pre-K and Kindergarten”.

Salary:$62,160/year
Requirement: Bachelor in Life Science, Natural Resources, Environmental Science, or related field.
